Stories are important

Whether you are telling a story about Anansi the Spider, a Bible Story about Lot’s wife or a story for our Happy Moments Project you are, when retelling the story, in another place; your imagination is stimulated your
heart strings pulled.

collected the stories and will continue with the project developing it as they go along.

Some of the people who participated in the project were recruited for work from the Caribbean. Others came from Africa for marriage, some to study and others for different reasons.

The Pepper Pot Day Centre was established to offer a culturally sensitive and a uniquely appropriate service to the African and Caribbean elders.
