The Man in The Red Suit - Life is like a jigsaw puzzle ​
A snapshot of a life. It is a true story. Part of two worlds, London, UK and Lagos, Nigeria, Graphic designer Donald, The Man in The Red suit tells his stories to artist and storyteller Myrna Shoa. The Man in The Red Suit arrives in London wearing a bright red suit, but it is the colour of his skin that people notice. He is a Black man in the UK whereas in Nigeria he is a man. Identity, Belonging, Home are some of the themes explored in The Man in The Red Suit.C) 2020

'ALL LIFE IS IN THE MOMENT'. THIS IS AN EXPERIMENTAL MIXED MEDIA VIDEO INSTALLATION, COMBINING HAND DRAWN AND DIGITAL IMAGES. (See Collage). We fail to see what is going on around us. We are not in The Moment, but only in our own narrow mind'', with our assumptions and prejudices. We look with blinkered vision, and make assumptions about what we see.  At any given moment people are giving birth and dying, dancing, being robbed or being kissed, working at a job or cleaning their rooms.

It was shown at The Portobello Film Festival, 2015 and at The Phoenix Gallery, Brighton, 2015  part of a Digital Arts Festival. 
Sensei  of KYBS Multi-Sports - H-One inspires people to 'Run, Run, Run for the Marathon' with his own song. Myrna Shoa and Nahem Shoa. 
TRAVEL TO WHERE YOU WANT TO BE is an animation made by Myrna Shoa. The artwork was originally a print and greeting card.

"Over Lockdown 2020- 2022 I conceived and created 2 video animations. The Man in The Red Suit and You Can't Come In. I also made Our World in Lockdown with Timuchin Dindjer. I recorded Inma Meruelo reading her delightful book she wrote and illustrated for children, Once Upon a Time in Covid -19 Time". Myrna Shoa

​Time Installation (having the time of your life)
(Time Project) Past present and future are all in the NOW. A photograph frames a moment in time but conveys very little of a life.
A million images of a moment says no more or less than 4 or 5 images.
This is a presentation of the installation, 'Having the Time of Your Life'. There is a kettle, tea bags and cups, for you to make some tea in the NOW.
My sister Sandra died on November 18th 2007.  My installation explores the ideas of NOW, GONE and TIME. Sandra and I had revisited the house we had grown up in and the same poster images were on the wall 50 years later. I have the original poster images, from photographs taken in the 1950s.
In late 1990s we took new photos in the same room with those 1950s posters still on the walls.
